Symposium organized jointly by the School of Optometry, Université de Montréal, the Institut Nazareth et Louis-Braille of the CISSS de la Montérégie-Centre and the Lethbridge-Layton-Mackay Rehabilitation Centre of the CIUSSS West-Central Montreal.

Program

The program will include 12 lectures, including those of two guest speakers, Bonnielin Swenor, Ph. D., Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at Johns Hopkins University Center on Aging and Health (Baltimore, MD, U.S.) and Arnaud Saj, Ph. D., Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology of the University of Montreal and researcher at CRIR–Institut Nazareth et Louis-Braille. Moreover, during the poster session, 25 research projects or clinical projects will be presented.

In addition, a seminar will be given by Bonnielin Swenor, Ph. D. the following morning at the Institut Nazareth et Louis-Braille, on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 from 9:00 to 11:30 am. Title of seminar : Aging with Vision Loss: Using Persepective to drive research.

Registration and payment must be made online, except for INLB employees and optometrists. INLB employees must refer to their program or service manager for registration procedures. Quebec optometrists must register on the CPRO website.
