CALL FOR APPLICATIONS – Postdoctoral Training
The Knowledge Exchange and Education in the health Professions (K.E.E.P) Lab at McGill university is seeking applications from candidates interested in pursuing a one-year postdoctoral fellowship starting July 1,2021, under the supervision of Dr. Aliki Thomas and Dr Annie Rochette (U. of Montréal)
PROJECT TITLE
Research in the K.E.E.P Lab focuses on education in the health professions and knowledge translation (KT) for evidence-based practices. Ongoing studies are exploring topics such as the development and assessment of advanced clinical competencies including evidence-based practice, decision-making and the development of professional competencies.
POSITION DETAILS
The successful candidate will work on a study that brings together stakeholders from education and research, practice and policy to collectively explore how to promote scholarly practice in rehabilitation contexts. The successful candidate will:
- conduct high level independent research in the area of partnership development, KT, implementation science, evidence-based practice and higher education in rehabilitation;
- will work independently within a large research team and
- oversee the daily activities of the lab and work with junior trainees (M.Sc. et Ph.D.).
QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants with a background in rehabilitation (e.g. occupational therapy, physical therapy), health professions education and/or other relevant health discipline are invited to apply. The successful candidate will be bilingual, have a strong record of academic achievement during their doctoral studies, and evidence of scholarly outputs including peer reviewed publications and conference presentations.
