JOB BRIEF

Inclusive Society (societeinclusive.ca) is looking for an agent of intersectoral consultation . Inclusive Society is a provincial intersectoral research initiative that supports some 90 researchers from Quebec universities and 100 partners from the community, private, municipal and government sectors . Inclusive Society’s activities began in 2017 and are supported by the Fonds de recherche du Québec.

Inclusive Society aims to develop research partnerships and apply innovative solutions to promote the social integration of people with disabilities. Its activities revolve around four main themes: 1) physical environment and personal mobility, 2) social environment, 3) health and adaptation-rehabilitation, and 4) attitudes, prejudices and discrimination.

In close collaboration with the two co-directors of Société inclusive, the mandate of the person sought is to organize, supervise and animate various activities. He or she contributes in particular to the realization of a variety of tasks, including : animation of scientific and partnership life , support and development ideation and networking activities , evaluation of project proposals and grant applications , project monitoring, identification of strategic orientations and objectives, identification of the needs of research members and partners, search for funding, management of links and agreements with current and future partners, monitoring and management of awards, monitoring of budgets, valorization of research results , support for implementation and appropriation knowledge in partner environments , dissemination of newsletters, animation and updating of websites and social networks , information monitoring , etc.

PROFILE SOUGHT

  • Diploma of 2nd or 3rd cycle (no particular discipline a priori )
  • Knowledge of the scientific research community , including the Quebec ecosystem
  • Knowledge of partnership and participatory research approaches
  • Ability to communicate in French and English (oral and written);
  • Professionalism, rigour and integrity
  • Customer approach
  • Motivation, ability to learn quickly, sense of responsibility, sense of priorities and autonomy
  • Ability to work under stress and organizational change

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

  • Type of employment : Full-time
  • Start of the contract : As soon as possible, depending on the availability of the person recruited
  • Schedule : Flexible with the possibility of teleworking
  • Salary : Depending on the experience and qualifications of the person recruited (very competitive)
  • Duration of the contract : Initial contract until March 31, 2023 with the possibility of renewal
  • Other conditions of employment: Pension plan (RREGOP), insurance, four weeks of vacation after a year of work, 13 public holidays, possibility of training, possibility of variable hours , scientific life
  • Work site: To be determined. However, office access is possible at the Centre interdisciplinaire de recherche en réadaptation et intégration sociale (Cirris, www.cirris.ulaval.ca) or even at the Centre de recherche interdisciplinaire en réadaptation (CRIR, www.crir.ca) of metropolitan Montreal .
