Position Summary

As part of the POSER Project – Promising Practices for the Optimization of Educational Services to Promote Student Educational Success, Professors Chantal Camden (Université de Sherbrooke) and Dana Anaby (McGill University Regular Researcher, CRIR—Lethbridge-Layton-Mackay Rehabilitation Centre) are looking for a research assistant, master’s student or postdoctoral researcher to contribute to a major research project in partnership with the Ministry of Education. The successful candidate will work as part of a dynamic team and contribute to innovative research aimed at improving educational services for exceptional students.

Requirements

  • Bilingualism (French and English)
  • University degree in a related field
  • Available for occasional attendance at the Université de Sherbrooke or McGill Health Campus
  • Strong knowledge of or interest in qualitative research
  • Good knowledge of and/or keen interest in the organization of educational services in Quebec

Assets

  • Experience working in a school setting or working with children
  • Exemplary academic profile
  • Research work experience

Salary

  • Master’s scholarship of $20,000/year offered for the master’s student, with the possibility of other scholarships
  • Research Assistant Salary according to applicable academic standards
  • Competitive salary for a postdoctoral researcher ($45,000/year)
