Neural mechanisms subtending normal and pathological vision. Techniques used are: neuroanatomy, pharmacology, neurophysiology, brain and retinal imaging, optogenetics, human psychophysics and human imaging.


Cortico-thalamo-cortical loops and pulvinar in animal models (normal and pathological), role of retinal neuromodulators, endocannabinoids system, visual system, neurophysiology, optical imaging, optogenetics, neuroanatomy, neuropharmacology, residual vision, schizophrenia.
