  • Part of the workshop will be devoted to questions from the audience about their projects.

SPEAKER

mYRIAM bÉRUBÉ, M. Sc.

Myriam Bérubé holds a master’s degree in physiotherapy and is trained in ergonomics. She is a doctoral candidate in Rehabilitation Sciences at the Université de Montréal and co-leader of the trainee network of the CIHR Institute of Gender and Health (IGH), UdeM chapter. Under the supervision of Professors Marie Laberge (UdeM) and Céline Chatigny (UQAM), Myriam is interested in the influences of sex and gender in an action-research project aimed at developing digital prevention tools for occupational health.

These tools will be specifically designed to support vocational training for students with learning difficulties. In addition to gender, Myriam’s research focuses on the influences of various socio-demographic factors, such as disability, mother tongue and age. By analyzing the impact of these factors and how they are taken into account, Myriam hopes to contribute to the development of more inclusive OHS prevention tools for a vulnerable population.
