4th Workshop for students

Workshop with the SSHRC’s Storytellers Finalists: An Opportunity to Learn about and Practice the Art of Presenting

As part of its 4th annual workshop, the CRIR Student Committee is very pleased to welcome 4 research students and finalists of the 2019 SSHRC’s Storytellers competition, as well as Sophie Boudreau, project lead of this competition for the Council of Social Sciences and Humanities Research (SSHRC) of Canada. The workshop will be offered in a bilingual format via Zoom. During this 2-hour workshop, Ms. Sophie Boudreau (CRSH), Ms. Sophie Labossière (UdeS), Mr. Enrico Quilico, B.Ed., MA (UofT, *CRIR student*), Ms. Florence Tétreault (UQÀM) and Mr. Rémi Thériault (UQÀM) will share with you their precious advice to improve your storytelling skills and their enriching personal experiences drawn from this major pan-Canadian competition.

This workshop is useful for students to understand how to have more impact with a target audience in oral and written scientific communications.

Please note that the speakers will invite you to view selected YouTube videos. Links to those will be provided during the workshop. This presentation will include interactive bilingual exchanges, in French or English, with the participants. This workshop will be recorded.
