Call for applications – Student Representatives | CRIR Student Committee 2023-2024

ARE YOU PURSUING A GRADUATE-LEVEL RESEARCH DEGREE AND HAVE A DESIRE TO GET INVOLVED IN ORDER TO ENERGIZE THE LIFE OF YOUR RESEARCH CENTER AND REPRESENT THE VOICE OF OTHER CRIR STUDENT MEMBER?

 

 

Several positions will be available on the CRIR student committee for the 2023-2024 year starting next September.

Application deadline: June 4, 2023

Being involved in the Student Committee is an enriching experience that is very intellectually and professionally gratifying. It allows you to become more actively involved in the life of your research center. Please note that involvement requires varying degrees of intensity during your year in office, beginning with an initial meeting with members of the former committee in June-July 2023.

POSITIONS AVAILABLE:

STUDENT REPRESENTATIVE – AXIS 1

  • 1 position for an Axis 1 student representative is available:

The role of Axis 1 and 2 student representatives is to promote a sense of belonging to CRIR, to unite students around scientific and social activities, to voice students’ interests to the Scientific Direction, at the Research Orientation Committee (COR) and the Annual General Assembly (November), to ensure that the privileges and benefits of CRIR student members are maintained. Axis 1 and 2 representatives collaborate together and serve a 2-year term which entails:

SITE STUDENT REPRESENTATIVES OF CRIR

  • Three (3) Student Representative positions are available at the following CRIR sites:
  1. CIUSSS du Centre-Sud-de-l’île-de-Montréal : IURDPM – Créneau Communication and cognition
  2. CIUSSS West-Central Montreal : Lethbridge-Layton-Mackay Rehabilitation Centre (CRLLM) – Constance-Lethbridge site
  3. CISSS de la Montérégie-Centre : Institut Nazareth et Louis-Braille (INLB)

The role of a CRIR student site representative is to represent the students of your research site on the Student Committee, in addition to welcoming and accompanying the students at your research site.
