The Committee on Innovative Practices in Research Ethics (PIER)<\/strong> aims to support research teams while exploring various approaches to address new challenges in research ethics.<\/p>\n

Exploring and critiquing innovative recruitment <\/strong>strategies (e.g. virtual recruitment; participant banks; third-party recruitment; principles of equity\u0301\/diversity\u0301\/inclusion in recruitment)<\/p>\n

Digital data management <\/strong><\/h4>\n

Adapting to the challenge of protecting privacy in massive data or cloud-based projects (e.g. telerehabilitation, artificial intelligence, public data banks, data retention in case of telecommuting)<\/p>\n

Tools to support <\/strong><\/h4>\n

Support for student and researcher members by the Research Ethics Committee (CER)<\/p>\n

The committee ensures that it represents the various categories of members, the different CRIR sites, and research ethics: students, research staff, researchers, clinical research coordination staff, CRIR scientific management, and research ethics specialists.
