A delegation agreement is in force with the three other CRIR establishments. The CRIR member establishments that do business with the REB RDP are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>CISSS de Laval<\/strong><br \/>\nJewish Rehabilitation Hospital (JRH)<\/li>\n<li><strong>CISSS de la Mont\u00e9r\u00e9gie-Centre<\/strong><br \/>\nInstitut Nazareth et Louis-Braille (INLB)<\/li>\n<li><strong>CIUSSS West-Central Montreal<\/strong><br \/>\nLethbridge-Layton-Mackay Rehabilitation Centre (LLMRC)<\/li>\n<li><strong>CIUSSS du Centre-Sud-de-l\u2019\u00cele-de-Montr\u00e9al<\/strong><br \/>\nInstitut universitaire sur la r\u00e9adaptation en d\u00e9ficience physique de Montr\u00e9al (IURDPM)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The REB shall examine all research projects involving humans and having at least one of the following characteristics in connection with a CRIR institution:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The project is at least partially conducted in the institution<\/li>\n<li>Subjects are to be recruited from among the community served by the institution or from files retained by the institution<\/li>\n<li>Project proponents or researchers confirm or imply the participation of the institution<\/li>\n<li>The project makes use of human resources, materials or funding from the institution<\/li>\n<li>The project makes use of personal information contained in the files retained by the institution<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The\u00a0REB RDP is recognized by the three universities affiliated with the CRIR: Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al, Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al and McGill University.<\/p>\n<p>The REB RDP is designated by Quebec\u2019s Minister of Health and Social Services under Article 21 of the Civil Code of Quebec, allowing the REB to evaluate projects involving a minor or a person of full age who is incapable of giving consent.<\/p>\n<p>It is governed by the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ccsmtl-mission-universitaire.ca\/sites\/mission_universitaire\/files\/media\/document\/RE_3000_002_V2_0.pdf\">cadre r\u00e9glementaire de la recherche de la direction de l\u2019enseignement universitaire et de la recherche of the CCSMTL<\/a> (2020).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An essential element of CRIR\u2019s mission is to encourage collaboration and research activities between rehabilitation institutions, universities and funding organizations.
