produced by the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Rehabilitation of Greater Montreal (CRIR) and its partners, to mark its 25<sup>th <\/sup>anniversary.<\/p>\n<p>The goal of this exhibition is to support a dialogue between the scientific community of rehabilitation researchers and the general public about the importance of getting involved to make environments more inclusive.<\/p>\n<p>Inclusive environments can reduce situations of disability experienced by the diverse \u00a0group of people with disabilities who make up our society.<\/p>\n<p>This exhibition will This clinic conducts research projects aimed at evaluating the impact of innovative therapies combining best clinical practices in rehabilitation with neuromodulation, i.e., electrical or magnetic stimulation applied to the nerves, brain, or spinal cord to modify the activity of the nervous system.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/memorylab.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Memory and Motor Rehabilitation Laboratory<\/a> is interested in studying the mechanisms of neuroplasticity in order to develop new and more effective interventions to improve the physical and cognitive well-being of different populations.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong><em>Tongue project <\/em><\/strong>led by Marie-H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Boudrias, a researcher at CRIR, explores how and whether tongue stimulation can help improve upper limb motor function and brain plasticity in people in the chronic stage of stroke.
