Research in the\u00a0K.E.E.P Lab\u00a0focuses on education in the health professions and knowledge translation for evidence-based practices. Ongoing studies are exploring topics such as the development and assessment of advanced clinical competencies including evidence-based practice, decision-making and the development of professional competencies.<\/p>\n<p>The successful candidate will work on two ongoing longitudinal studies funded by the CIHR and the SSHRC.\u00a0 They will conduct high level independent research in the area of knowledge translation and implementation science, evidence-based practice and higher education in rehabilitation and other health professions (e.g. nursing, speech-language pathology, physiotherapy, medicine). Funding is available for the first year. The successful candidate will be expected to apply for competitive post-doctoral funding to support the second year of the fellowship.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants with a background in rehabilitation (e.g. occupational therapy, physical therapy), health professions education and\/or other relevant health discipline are invited to apply.\u00a0 Applicants should have a strong interest in KT, evidence-based rehabilitation practices (EBRP), higher education and professional competencies to support EBRP and KT. \u00a0The successful candidate will have a strong record of academic achievement during their doctoral studies, and evidence of scholarly outputs including peer reviewed publications and conference presentations. The post-doctoral fellow will work independently within 2 larger research teams, oversee the daily activities of the lab and work with junior trainees (MSc and PhD students).<\/p>\n<p>Interested candidates should forward a letter of interest, curriculum vitae and the names of two referees to <a href=\"mailto:aliki.thomas@mcgill.ca\">aliki.thomas@mcgill.ca<\/a>.
