Ph.D., researcher at the CRIR\u2013Institut universitaire sur la r\u00e9adaptation en d\u00e9ficience physique de Montr\u00e9al, which focuses primarily on adolescents, young people and adults living with chronic disease and pain, specifically those transitioning from pediatric to adult health care services. Her research advocates for and evaluates innovative rehabilitation interventions that favour disease-self-management, promote physical and leisure activities, as well as facilitate social participation and inclusion for these clienteles.<\/p>\n<h4>Main responsibilities<\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808000;\"><strong>MANAGING RESEARCH ACTIVITIES<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare and submit all necessary documents needed for certification by research ethics committees at different recruitment sites<\/li>\n<li>Support lab research activities: Contribute to recruiting participants; ensure management of documents and other materials needed for data collection; as well as ensure\/contribute to data collection (qualitative and quantitative)<\/li>\n<li>Organize project documentation of research projects<\/li>\n<li>Organise and lead group discussions, and interviews with participants<\/li>\n<li>Participate in the coding and thematic analysis of qualitative data<\/li>\n<li>Create data files in SPSS, Excel and\/or Access for data collation for statistical analysis<\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">Participate in literature reviews<\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">Help with the orientation of new summer and graduate students to the lab<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808000;\"><strong>ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contribute to preparing funding grant applications<\/li>\n<li>Complete electronic bibliographic searches<\/li>\n<li>Periodically update a roster of funding opportunities for future projects<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate meetings with project partners and ensure follow-up<\/li>\n<li>Prepare brief minutes following for research team meetings<\/li>\n<li>Manage the list of project-partners<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808000;\"><strong>KNOWLEDGE TRANSLATION<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate in preparing and writing-up scientific abstracts and manuscripts, by completing electronic bibliographic searches and preparing result tables<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Minimal qualifications requirements<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Hold a university degree in occupational therapy, physiotherapy, kinesiology, psychology, social work, and public health or another relevant field of health and social sciences<\/li>\n<li>Have excellent communication skills, verbal and written in English and in French<\/li>\n<li>Have basic knowledge of text-management (EndNote, Excel, Word, Pdf)<\/li>\n<li>Have a marked interest for interventions in rehabilitation, physical activity and leisure<\/li>\n<li>Have work experience with young people and adults<\/li>\n<li>Have previous experience in research<\/li>\n<li>Able to work independently and as part of a team<\/li>\n<li>Flexible to meet potential participants in the study<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Additional assets<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Have a university degree in the field of rehabilitation, kinesiology or physical activity sciences<\/li>\n<li>Have a good working knowledge of the following softwares: SPSS, SAS or Stata;
