The Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Rehabilitation of Greater Montreal\u00a0(CRIR)<\/strong> is pleased to announce the creation of two awards of recognition offered to a young researcher and clinician, in honour of Eva Kehayia, Co-Scientific Director of the CRIR from 2000-2020 and Bonnie Swaine, Co-Scientific Director of the CRIR from 2010 to 2020.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Eva Kehayia Recognition Award<\/em>\u00a0 | CRIR e<\/strong><\/span><\/b>arly career researcher
\n<\/b><\/h2>\n

The Eva Kehayia Recognition Award \u2013 Young researcher<\/strong> is a new award created by the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Rehabilitation of Greater Montreal (CRIR) in honour of Eva Kehayia, CRIR Scientific Co-Director from 2000-2020. During her years as director, she distinguished herself by her human qualities, her outstanding commitment to the CRIR and its members, her invaluable leadership and her ability to act as a mentor to young researchers and students.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This is why a prize will be awarded to a CRIR<\/strong>\u00a0early career researcher<\/b>\u00a0who has made a special contribution to the development of adaptation and rehabilitation research and to the CRIR’s mission during the first seven years of his or her career.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Bonnie Swaine\u00a0<\/em><\/b>Recognition Award\u00a0\u00a0<\/em>|
\n<\/b>Clinician\/Healthcare Professionals\u00a0<\/b>\u2013\u00a0Partnership and Knowledge Mobilization\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n

The Bonnie Swaine Recognition Award \u2013 Clinician\/Healthcare Professionals<\/strong>\u00a0<\/b>(Partnership and Knowledge Mobilization) is a new award created by the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Rehabilitation of Greater Montreal (CRIR) in honour of Bonnie Swaine, CRIR Scientific Co-Director from 2010 to 2020. Bonnie Swaine enabled many clinicians to fulfill themselves in clinical research, whether through the supervision of projects emerging from questions in the field, or through action-research embedded in innovative practices. During her years at the helm of the CRIR, she offered concrete solutions and collaborated assiduously with all clinician\/healthcare professionals (staff, managers) to ensure that the research culture takes on its full meaning in our partner institutions.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A prize will be awarded to a\u00a0CRIR Clinician\/Healthcare Professional member<\/b>\u00a0who has made his or her mark through contributions to partnerships and knowledge mobilization in the context of the CRIR\u2019s mission over the past five years.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
