{"id":16804,"date":"2022-07-18T16:07:16","date_gmt":"2022-07-18T20:07:16","guid":{"rendered":"\/"},"modified":"2022-07-18T16:25:00","modified_gmt":"2022-07-18T20:25:00","slug":"job-offer-research-assistantcrir-k-e-e-p-mcgill","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/crir.ca\/en\/job-offer-research-assistantcrir-k-e-e-p-mcgill\/","title":{"rendered":"Job offer: Research assistant|CRIR-K.E.E.P-McGill"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Research assistant<\/h1>\n<h2>Job description<\/h2>\n<p>The School of Physical and Occupational Therapy, the Institute for Health Sciences Education at McGill University and the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Rehabilitation\u00a0of Greater Montreal (CRIR) seek a Research Assistant to work in the <strong>K<\/strong>nowledge\u00a0<strong>E<\/strong>xchange and<strong>\u00a0E<\/strong>ducation\u00a0in the health\u00a0<strong>P<\/strong>rofessions<strong>\u00a0(K.E.E.P) <\/strong>Lab in the area of evidence-based practice and knowledge translation.<\/p>\n<h2>Main responsibilities<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in coordinating large federally-funded projects, including working with knowledge users and coordinating team meetings, and project schedules.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate recruitment and data collection across multiple sites in Canada.<\/li>\n<li>Work with National Professional association, universities and other major stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Undertake, under supervision, the entry, organization, coding, and management of large data sets.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with statisticians involved in data analyses.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the preparation of grant reports, manuscripts and conference presentations.<\/li>\n<li>Create, organize and maintain databases for quantitative and qualitative data<strong style=\"font-size: 0.9em;\">\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Qualifications<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with grant writing<\/li>\n<li>Experienced with organizing, managing, coding and analyzing quantitative data<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable with software such as Word, Excel and SPSS, NVivo or dedoose<\/li>\n<li>Experience with the Canadian common CV<\/li>\n<li>At minimum, master\u2019s level education in rehabilitation or related field.<\/li>\n<li>Research responsibilities would increase with higher levels of expertise.<\/li>\n<li>Accuracy and attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>High level organizational skills<\/li>\n<li>Sense of motivation and ability to work independently<\/li>\n<li>Willingness and ability to work flexible hours<\/li>\n<li>Bilingualism (English, French)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Job information<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Start Date: <\/strong>Looking to hire as soon as possible. Consideration of applications will begin immediately until position is filled<\/li>\n<li><strong>Work hours and location: <\/strong>This position is for 3 days per week for the fist year. Number of hours may fluctuate for years 2-3.
