Exceptional funding of more than $2 million\u00a0<\/strong>for rehabilitation research at the CRIR<\/strong><\/h1>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Montreal, June 27, 2023,<\/p>\n

Six principal investigators, members of the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Rehabilitation of Greater Montreal\u00a0(CRIR<\/a>) of the Institut universitaire sur la r\u00e9adaptation en d\u00e9ficience physique de Montr\u00e9al (IURDPM<\/a>), have been awarded more than $2 million by the LRH Foundation to fund three new innovative rehabilitation research programs to be carried out primarily at the Gingras Lindsay Rehabilitation Institute of Montreal (IRGLM) of the CIUSSS du Centre-Sud-de-l’\u00cele-de-Montr\u00e9al.<\/p>\n

The CRIR is a unique research center. It is distinguished by the excellence, breadth, and diversity of its research in rehabilitation, as well as through its interdisciplinary, intersectoral and knowledge mobilization initiatives. These initiatives have a powerful impact in the clinical, scientific, public and community sectors.<\/p>\n

Congratulations to all parties involved in these new research programs: our researchers<\/strong> who make CRIR blossom, the partner institutions (Institut universitaire sur la r\u00e9adaptation en d\u00e9ficience physique de Montr\u00e9al (IURDPM) of CIUSSS du Centre-Sud-de-l’\u00cele-de-Montr\u00e9al, Jewish Rehabilitation Hospital (JRH) of CISSS de Laval, Lethbridge-Layton-Mackay Rehabilitation Center (LLMRC) of CIUSSS West-Central Montreal), the 6 participating universities (Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al (UdeM), McGill University (McGill), Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al (UQAM), Universit\u00e9 de Sherbrooke, Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Trois-Rivi\u00e8res (UQTR), \u00c9cole de technologie sup\u00e9rieure (\u00c9TS), as well as industrial, community, clinical and research partners.<\/p>\n
