Applications from candidates with expertise in other areas of audiology may also be considered.<br \/>\nTo learn more about the school, you can visit our website:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/eoa.umontreal.ca\/\">https:\/\/eoa.umontreal.ca\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Tasks and responsibilities<\/h2>\n<p>As a professor, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the promotion of excellence in the School of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology within the Faculty of Medicine through your teaching and research activities.<br \/>\nIn this role, you will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Teach undergraduate and graduate students;<\/li>\n<li>Supervise research work of graduate students;<\/li>\n<li>Develop and conduct research programs in your specialized area of audiology;<\/li>\n<li>Engage in scholarly activities to contribute to the scientific community;<\/li>\n<li>Participate actively in the academic and administrative functions of the School.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Profile required<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>A Ph.D. in audiology or a related field;<\/li>\n<li>Postdoctoral studies or relevant work experience in an academic setting;<\/li>\n<li>A track record of excellent research productivity and teaching experience;<\/li>\n<li>An adequate knowledge of written and spoken French or a strong commitment to mastering the required level of French proficiency, in accordance with Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al\u2019s Language Policy.
