The CRIR Scientific Direction welcomes Guy Martial Takam Fongang<\/strong> to the position of Senior Agent \u2013 Grants and Data Management<\/strong> at CRIR’s administrative headquarters.<\/p>\n Guy Martial is responsible\u00a0for the\u00a0Fonds recherche Qu\u00e9bec (FRQ) – Health Sector registry and the management of related data.<\/strong> He supports the distribution of indirect research costs (FIRs)<\/strong> among the various CRIR institutions and the production of indicators required for the center’s reporting. Finally, he coordinates CRIR’s funding programs and special awards and he updates the website<\/strong>, and produces CRIR’s newsletters.<\/p>\n Guy Martial holds a PhD in Environmental Sciences from the Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al and a Master\u2019s degree in Economics from the University of Yaound\u00e9 II in Cameroon. After completing his PhD, he undertook a postdoctoral fellowship at the Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec en Outaouais.<\/span><\/p>\n Prior to joining the CRIR, Guy Martial taught economics at the Bilingual High School of Belabo in Cameroon between 2016 and 2018, and taught agri-food policy issues and quantitative methods at the Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al between 2020 and 2025.
