Workshop description:

During this presentation given in French, we will revisit the distinction between sex and sociocultural gender. The importance of including these concepts in health research, particularly in mental health, will be discussed. We will then discuss the means available to measure sociocultural gender. Finally, we will present a method that we have developed to create a gender score using data that has already been collected, presenting a replicable example. The differentiated contribution of the separate study of sex and gender will ultimately be discussed.
