INFO Santé Québec: Name changes to CISSSs and CIUSSSs
Name changes to CISSSs and CIUSSSs
As part of the creation of Santé Québec, the organisations within the health network — the CISSSs and CIUSSSs — are gradually adopting a new, common identity. This harmonisation aims to provide a more coherent structure, make the network easier for the public to understand, and enhance the visibility of Santé Québec as the organisation responsible for managing health and social services.
The former names of the CISSSs and CIUSSSs are therefore being replaced by standardised names, centred on the areas they serve. This transition forms part of a broader objective: to improve the clarity, efficiency and accessibility of communications within the public health network.
Below you will find the new nomenclature for CRIR’s research sites, which now include their affiliation with Santé Québec:
- Lethbridge-Layton-Mackay Rehabilitation Centre (LLMRC) | Santé Québec West-Central Montreal Health and Social Services University Network
