Ingrid Verduyckt, recipient of the ESP Award for Excellence presented by the University of Montreal

The CRIR’s Scientific Directorate would like to congratulate Ingrid Verduyckt, Ph.D., associate professor at the School of Speech and Language Therapy and Audiology and a researcher at CRIR-IURDPM, who has been awarded the ESP Award for Excellence – Recognition of External Partnerships for Research Training, as part of the University of Montreal’s most recent Teaching Excellence Awards competition.
This award highlights the innovative and committed nature of the work carried out at the Speech and Language Therapy Innovation Laboratory, led by Professor Ingrid Verduyckt. Three flagship initiatives caught the jury’s attention:
- Voice Therapy Community of Practice — a collaborative space bringing together clinicians, researchers and students to address voice-related issues;
- Vocavie — a project dedicated to raising awareness and promoting prevention in the field of vocal health;
- Parlons Voix — a knowledge translation initiative aimed at the general public.
By building strong bridges between the scientific, clinical and community sectors, these projects foster the exchange of knowledge and contribute to the training of the next generation of researchers.
