Appointment at the Jewish Rehabilitation Hospital (JRH): Filomena Pietrangelo

The Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Rehabilitation of Greater Montreal (CRIR) at the Jewish Rehabilitation Hospital welcomes a new Clinical Research Coordinator (3 days/week) – 1 year Replacement.

The Jewish Rehabilitation Hospital (JRH) at CISSS the Laval, research site of the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Rehabilitation of Greater Montreal (CRIR), is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Filomena Pietrangelo as Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) (3 days/week).

Filomena has been a clinician at the JRH for 26 years and has always aspired to provide quality health care as a physical therapist. She began her career in the rehabilitation field working with various adult patient populations and then decided to dedicate her work to pediatric rehabilitation 13 years ago. For the past 5 years, she has been able to gain research experience through a research salary award offered by the JRH Foundation, which has allowed her to work with bright and aspiring students and researchers. Filomena believes in the great collaboration between clinicians, researchers and educational institutions, where great ideas and innovation in health care can be fostered.

The role of the clinical research coordinator is to coordinate and stimulate clinical research, act as an intermediary between clinicians and research teams in order to promote research-clinical collaboration, support clinicians in submitting grant applications and facilitate the dissemination of research results.
