Science POP Competition: 5 days to register for the challenges and training workshops

Listen up everyone!

Only 5 days left before the deadline to choose your challenge and submit your presentation!

Read these last instructions and important information:

 

Choose the right challenge and submit your presentation!

Make sure you are familiar with the rules and particularities of each challenge.

  1. Consult the document “Information about Challenges” to make an informed choice as to which challenge suits you best
  2. Your presentation must contain:
    • a title (10 words maximum)
    • A brief description of their presentation (150 words maximum) when submitting their presentation for the competition.
    • Instructions and examples of descriptions have been made available on the contest website in the “Toolbox” section. This step will be mandatory for the provincial final.

Training workshops for each challenge

We are pleased to announce that Science POP is offering free virtual workshops to prepare you for the challenges on the following dates

  • Popularization Challenge:
    • March 8 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm (FR)
    • March 28 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm (EN)
  • Valorization Challenge:
    • March 16 from 9am to 12:30pm (FR)
    • March 17 from 9am to 12:30pm (EN)
  • Mobilization Challenge:
    • March 6 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm (FR)
    • March 20 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm (EN)

? Places are limited to those registered for a challenge in the CRIR internal competition and the 15 participating institutions.

The Science POP Finals – Internship offer to the winners.

The Science POP Grand Finals will be held on May 27 and 28, 2023 at IRCM. The provincial winners will be offered, in addition to a cash prize, the opportunity to do a scientific communication internship with one of our partners.
