THE COMPETITION IS OPEN! 2023 CRIR Graduate Scholarships Program

Each year, CRIR offers a limited number of scholarships at the research Master’s ($8,000), research Doctoral ($15,000) and postdoctoral training ($20,000) levels for CRIR student members, including international students and students from other Canadian provinces. The duration and amount of the scholarships are determined in accordance with the FRQS regulations and the funds available. 

To be eligible for the “CRIR Graduate Scholarships” Program, students must be supervised by a CRIR “regular researcher” member (your principal supervisor) and be a student member in good standing, in the fall of 2023.  


ARE YOU A STUDENT MEMBER IN GOOD STANDING WITH CRIR?
 

Before submitting your application, make sure you are a student member in good standing by completing the registration form to become a member or to update your status if your level of study has changed (e.g. change of level for master’s, doctorate or postdoctorate)

PROOF OF AWARDS
 

For all those who obtained bursary/scholarship funding during the last year, please send without delay a copy of your award letter to Mr. Cicéron Kanli so we can register your award in the FRSQ Registry.

TO KNOW, BEFORE STARTING: 

HAVE YOUR APPLICATION VERIFIED BEFORE SUBMITTING IT: 

  • We recommend that you have your research project and curriculum vitae verified by your principal supervisor (CRIR regular researcher). 
  • Student support services are also available at the universities for the preparation of grant applications: Université de Montréal (student support), Université de Montréal (preparation guide), UQAM (student support), McGill University (student support).
