What a great atmosphere at the first meeting of the CRIR 2026–2027 student committee!
Some pages published before that date may still contain the former CISSS and CIUSSS designations.
The nine members of the new committee had the opportunity to meet last Thursday – Thursday 27 August 2026 – at the Gingras–Lindsay–de–Montréal Rehabilitation Institute for a kick-off meeting full of lively discussion, new insights… and shared enjoyment.
This meeting provided an opportunity for the committee members to establish initial contact with the scientific leadership of the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Rehabilitation in Greater Montreal (CRIR) and Le Carrefour des savoirs.
Together, we explored:
🔶𝗟𝗲 𝗖𝗥𝗜𝗥: its mission, strategic priorities, committees, research sites and the workings of the student committee — presented by Claudine Auger, co-director of CRIR-IURDPM, and Chantal Bibeau, information officer at CRIR.
🔶𝗟𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗿𝘀: icebreaker activities led by Lamia Lamoudi to help participants get to know one another better, as well as a presentation on the activities and opportunities offered by the Carrefour des savoirs, led by Danielle Filion.
Beyond the introductions, this meeting was above all an opportunity to forge links and lay the foundations for an exciting year at the CRIR.
