Researcher, CRIR – Institut universitaire sur la réadaptation en déficience physique de Montréal (IURDPM), Gingras pavilion, CIUSSS du Centre-Sud-de-l’Île-de-Montréal
Marika Demers is an assistant professor in the occupational therapy program at Université de Montréal’s School of Rehabilitation. She holds a bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from Université de Montréal, as well as a master’s and doctorate in rehabilitation sciences from McGill University. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California. Her research focuses on the mechanisms underlying motor recovery and innovative approaches to neurological rehabilitation.
