WEBINAR DESCRIPTION

How do our perceptions of disability influence our clinical approaches and rehabilitation research? But what do we actually mean by disability?

This workshop provides a space for reflection on these questions. After an overview of terminology related to disability, we will explore the concept of ableism using examples from bioethics and speech therapy. We will conclude with possible solutions to promote the inclusion of people with disabilities in our practices.

  • The question period will be bilingual (French and English) according to your needs.

We hope to see you there!
