Marc Roig: Moving the Body to Protect the Brain – LA PRESSE
Professor and researcher at McGill University and at the CRIR–Jewish Rehabilitation Hospital of the CISSS de Laval, Marc Roig has become one of the leading figures in the study of how physical exercise affects brain health. Together with his team, he explores how physical activity could become a key strategy to prevent cognitive decline, particularly after a stroke. His innovative work, conducted at the Jewish Rehabilitation Hospital in Laval, has the potential to transform the way we protect the brain from the earliest stages of vulnerability.
