Appointment at the Jewish Rehabilitation Hospital: Clautilde Nguiadem specialist in biomedical engineering and biomechanics

The Center for Interdisciplinary Rehabilitation Research (CRIR) at the Jewish Rehabilitation Hospital is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Clautilde Nguiadem to the position of Biomedical Engineering and Rehabilitation and Motion Capture Technologies Specialist (1 day/week).

Having earned her PhD in Biomedical Engineering in 2022, Biomechanics Option, Clautilde specializes in human movement analysis and rehabilitation and assistive technologies. She has a strong interest in the rehabilitation of physical disabilities and the prevention of musculoskeletal injuries. With her 4 years of experience in research, she has developed a high level of scientific rigor: research and data collection methods (qualitative and quantitative), knowledge transfer and scientific popularization.

The role of the Biomedical Engineering Specialist is to install, configure and operate researchequipment for experiments related to 3D motion capture (via camera and IMU), electromyography (EMG), robotic devices, video oculography (VOG), virtual reality and electroencephalography (EEG). Clautilde will create programs and interfaces for data collection and analysis and assist in the creation and implementation of databases. As needed, she will assist researchers and students with data collection and participate in writing research reports.
