Johanne Higgins and colleagues – recognized for the Université de Montréal « Assignment with An International Buddy » project

The School of Rehabilitation of the Université de Montréal receives the Award of Excellence for the internationalization of programs.

 

 

The involvement of researcher Johanne Higgins and her colleagues Sylvie Scurti and Josée Lemoignan, from the Université de Montréal, rewarded for the international twinning project “Assignment with An International Buddy”!

In 2020, the School of Rehabilitation joined the “Assignment with An International Buddy project”, making it the first North American occupational therapy program to do so. Since then, the project has gained popularity among students in the Bachelor’s-Master’s continuum in occupational therapy, developing their intercultural awareness and professional identity.
