Job opportunity: Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) | Memory and Motor Rehabilitation Laboratory

The Memory and Motor Rehabilitation Laboratory is currently looking for a Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) to help conduct research in the field of exercise and neuroscience: https://memorylab.ca/.

Responsibilities:
- Coordination of research projects
- Assist graduate students with their research projects (e.g., data collection)
- Recruit participants for large-scale randomized controlled trials
- Prepare and submit applications to research ethics boards
- Assist the PI with grant submission tasks, curriculum update
- Track the expenses of multiple research funds and process purchase orders
- Conduct scientifically validated evaluations of physical and cognitive function in clinical populations (i.e., stroke, Parkinson’s Disease)
- Opportunity for authorship on conference and journal publications and involvement in other scientific activities (e.g., journal clubs)
Qualifications:
- Functional fluency in French (i.e., enough for basic conversations) is required
- Availability to work occasional nights and weekends is required
Assets:
- Master’s degree in relevant field
- Experience working with older adults or clinical populations
- Prior experience in clinical research, particularly in research ethics and recruitment
- Experience in financial administration
- Familiarity with the Nagano research ethics platform and/or McGill Marketplace
- Experience in website design with WordPress
Hours: 25-30 hours/week that could be increased if needed.
Remuneration: In line with McGill payment scales and based on the experience and qualifications.
