WHETHER YOU ARE IN YOUR FIRST YEAR OR AT THE END OF YOUR PROGRAM, THIS WELCOME DAY IS FOR YOU!

This Welcome Day, presented virtually via Zoom, will allow you to know how the CRIR works, to discover the various research sites and to meet the people who are part of the great CRIR team.

You will be able to participate in the workshop on the theme “Create accessible research communications and attend the Annual General Assembly (AGA), during which we will have the opportunity to discuss projects and activities or the coming year.

 

Schedule of the day :

9:00 to 10:00

Student welcome and presentation of the CRIR, its team and your student committee by the student representatives of axes 1 & 2.

  • Jeff Ferreri (Psychology, Université de Montréal), student representative – axis 1 and Alia Osman (Rehabilitation Sciences, McGill University), student representative – axis 2.
  • Presentation of the student representatives of the CRIR sites: Julie Robidoux; Line Enjalbert; Tosin Ogedengbe; Etienne Marteau, Jessica Hanson; Zeinab Ahmadian Sangkar; Joshua Simmonds; Pauline Lemersre.
  • Presentation of the CRIR Research Ethics Committee: le CER en réadaptation en déficience physique (CER RDP), by Anik Nolet, Conseillère cadre en éthique de la recherche, Responsable du bureau de l’évaluation des projets de recherche, Direction de l’enseignement universitaire et de la recherche du CIUSSS du Centre-Sud-de-l’Île-de-Montréal.

English Workshop: “Create accessible and inclusive research communications”.

Creating accessible communication tools for colleagues and participants who are blind, deafblind, and or who have low vision: from research design to knowledge dissemination.

  • 45-minute interactive presentation and 15 minutes of bilingual question period.
