Description

Caroline Paquette studies the neuronal correlates of normal and post-stroke human locomotion and motor function. Her work aims to identify brain structures directly involved in the control of posture and locomotion and investigates post-stroke neuroplasticity related to locomotion using 18F-fluorodesoxy-glucose Positron Emission Tomography (18F-FDG PET) imaging. In addition, she investigates the use of therapeutic non-invasive brain stimulation in post-stroke motor and language function rehabilitation.
