A database of retinal images in visually impaired individuals: Drusen and Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD)

Do you or does anyone you know have Age-related Macular Degeneration? We need your help!

Concordia University and the CRIR–Lethbridge-Layton-Mackay Rehabilitation Centre are teaming up to build a database of retinal images and information on the visual function of individuals with AMD and/or drusen.

Help us advance research on AMD and create an educational resource for clinicians, eye care professionals, those with AMD and their families.

 

Inclusion criteria

  • Aged 50 years ans over
  • Have retinal drusen or a diagnosis of AMD
  • Ability to visit us at one of our test sites

Duration: One 2-hour test session with the option to participate in more if you want to.

When: 2018-2021

Where: CRIR–MAB-MacKay Rehabilitation Centre in NDG across from Concordia University’s Loyola Campus

Travel and parking expenses will be reimbursed. Confidentiality assured.
